Governor Cuomo nominates Singas and Cannataro for Court of Appeals vacancies.

This afternoon, Governor Cuomo announced that he would nominate Hon. Madeline Singas and Hon. Anthony Cannataro to fill the vacancies created by Judge Feinman’s and Judge Stein’s retirements.

As we’ve covered elsewhere, Singas is the Nassau County District Attorney, and Cannataro is the Administrative Judge of the Civil Court of the City of New York.

The State Senate Judiciary Committee will now consider these nominations.
