The Court of Appeals announced today that Associate Judge Paul G. Feinman has passed away. Judge Feinman announced last week that he was retiring immediately to attend to health concerns.
As Chief Judge DiFiore remarked earlier today, “Judge Feinman was a meticulous, disciplined and humble jurist” who “served with excellence at every level of our Judiciary.” She also praised Judge Feinman as “a tireless and resolute champion of LGBTQ rights, a trailblazing pioneer for LGBTQ lawyers and judges and an incredibly dedicated mentor who inspired countless judges, attorneys and law students.”
