Senate confirms Singas and Cannataro to Court of Appeals.

The Court of Appeals has two new judges: Madeline Singas, who replaces Judge Leslie Stein, and Anthony Cannataro, who replaces the late Judge Paul Feinman. After hearing that was tense at times, the Judiciary Committee advanced Singas’s nomination to the full Senate, which confirmed Singas by a 37–26 vote. Cannataro’s Judiciary Committee hearing was shorter and less confrontational. The Senate ultimately confirmed Cannataro as well.
